Which Park & Rides offer free parking?
P+R Luchtbal, P+R Merksem, and P+R Boechout — all three are completely free for AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena visitors. P+R Olympiade is also an option, but costs €1/day.

How exactly does the free parking work?
In 3 steps: your license plate is registered automatically, you take the tram to the venue, and you scan a QR code on arrival to link your visit to the event.
- Your license plate is registered. On arrival at the Park & Ride, your license plate is automatically registered — no action needed on your part.
- Take the tram to the venue. Board the tram toward the Sport metro stop. Your concert ticket serves as your tram ticket, no need to validate it separately.
- Scan the QR code on arrival at the venue. Scan the QR code at the info desk and enter your license plate. This links your visit to the event, so you can leave for free within 24 hours.
Note: this QR-scan step only applies to P+R Luchtbal and P+R Merksem. At P+R Boechout there's nothing to scan — parking is always free there. At P+R Olympiade you always pay €1/day, regardless of scanning.
Can I reserve a parking spot at the Park & Ride?
Yes, at P+R Luchtbal and P+R Merksem you can reserve a guaranteed spot via parkeren.be. You pay a €1 reservation fee online for this, plus a €1 parking fee you pay upon arrival at the Park & Ride. Both amounts are non-refundable.
What if my license plate wasn't recognized?
Visit the info desk at AFAS Dome or Lotto Arena. Staff there will help you further.
Tip: when driving in, check the screen at the barriers to confirm your license plate was registered correctly, so you know right away instead of only finding out later. Sometimes the cameras don't register a license plate correctly or completely.
How long can I use the free Park & Ride?
Up to 24 hours after registering on arrival. If you leave the Park & Ride later, the regular parking rate for that location applies to the extra time.
