Access rules: prohibited items and bag policy
For safety reasons, strict access rules apply at all be•at venues: only handbags up to A4 size are allowed, a range of items is prohibited, and exceptions apply for medical reasons — both for oversized bags and for medication.
What is the bag policy?
Only handbags up to a maximum A4 size (21 x 30 x 10 cm) are allowed. Larger bags, backpacks, or luggage are best left at home — they're not permitted inside the venue. If you do bring a larger bag, it can only be stored in a locker, subject to availability.
Which items are prohibited?
The following items are not allowed:
- Bottles, cans, drinks, or food
- Alcohol
- Cutlery, glass (perfume) bottles, aerosols (such as deodorants)
- Flagpoles, (extendable) selfie sticks
- Fireworks, sharp objects
- Umbrellas
- Audio recording devices, film and photo cameras (with detachable lens)
Smartphones with a camera are allowed, unless the organizer prohibits their use.
Are there exceptions for medical reasons?
Yes, in two ways.
Can't meet the requested bag dimensions for medical reasons? Contact our Customer Experience Center in advance.
Do you need medication, needles, a liquid, or a device to administer medication? Medication for personal use is allowed. For needles, liquids, or administration devices, it's best to contact our Customer Experience Center in advance so we can prepare for your visit.
What else should I know before entering the venue?
- This list is not exhaustive: at the request of the artist or organizer, stricter entry rules may apply.
- Entering the venue implies consent to a possible search. Want to know more about how that works? Read Security searches and safety at be•at entrances.
- In case of violation, access may be denied and the police may be called.
- Be•at is not liable for theft or loss of personal belongings, even if stored in a locker.
