The event is sold out. Can I still get a ticket?
There's never a guarantee of getting a ticket for a sold-out event, but there are a few options: a waiting list, resale, or the organizer's official website.
What are my options to still get tickets if an event is sold out?
- Sign up for the waiting list, if that option is offered (see below). Spots often become available later, and a well-filled waiting list can sometimes prompt an organizer to schedule an extra show.
- Buy a ticket from someone else, but not for more than the seller originally paid. We recommend only buying resold tickets from people you know personally. Any optional payment or shipping fees not included in the ticket price may not be passed on.
- Look up the official website of the organizer or the venue. These websites always link through to official ticket sellers.
I'm on a waiting list. What now?
If there's a waiting list, you can sign up to stay informed about spots that open up — for example, due to production reasons, or when a new show is announced.
Note:
- When the resale tool is activated, tickets may become available that aren't actively offered to the waiting list.
- A waiting list is no guarantee of getting tickets.
If spots open up, you simply need to wait until we contact you by email. This happens in 1 of 2 ways:
- You'll receive an email with a unique link to book your tickets yourself. This link is only valid for a limited time.
- A Customer Experience Specialist will place the order for you. You'll receive a confirmation email for this, followed by a payment request. To secure the tickets for good, you simply need to pay on time.
