My event is canceled or rescheduled: am I eligible for a refund?
If an event is rescheduled or canceled by the organizer, you're entitled to a refund. If the event goes ahead as planned and you personally can't attend, a refund unfortunately isn't possible.
We keep you informed
As soon as we receive official confirmation from the organizer that an event is being rescheduled or canceled, we notify every ticket buyer by email.
Do my tickets remain valid?
This depends on the situation:
- In case of a reschedule: the email clearly states whether your original tickets remain valid for the new date, or whether you'll receive new tickets.
- In case of a cancellation: the event is permanently canceled, and your tickets automatically become invalid.
Tip: in your Ticketmaster account, you can view all your active orders and access your tickets.
Am I eligible for a refund?
My event was rescheduled or canceled by the organizer. In that case, you're entitled to a refund. You'll receive an email with all the information about:
- the new date (in case of a reschedule) or the reason for cancellation;
- how to request a refund (often via a link in the email).
In some cases, the refund happens automatically, with no action required from you.
Is the event postponed to a date not yet known? Then a refund is usually only possible once the new date has been set. You retain your right to a refund; in that case, we ask for your patience until the new date is known.
Important: submit your refund request before the deadline stated in the email.
My event is going ahead as planned. In that case, a refund unfortunately isn't possible if you personally decide not to attend. The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to admission tickets, as stipulated by Belgian law. Read more in Ticketmaster's terms and conditions.
The deadline for my refund has already passed. What now?
No worries. You can still submit a request through our Customer Experience Center — a colleague will review your request.
What if I can't use my ticket, but the event is still going ahead?
For most events, you can safely and easily resell your ticket(s) through the official Ticketmaster Resale platform. This gives another fan the chance to take over your ticket, in a reliable way. See how to resell tickets through Ticketmaster.
Did you take out cancellation insurance with your order?
Get in touch directly with the insurer — see what cancellation insurance is and how to claim it. Be sure to provide your reservation number. The insurer may ask you for proof of non-attendance. You can request this proof after the event through the proof-of-non-attendance request form.
Did you experience (technical) issues while placing your order?
Our team is happy to look into exactly what went wrong. Get in touch through the contact form.
